Summary: Follows the post-college life of a group of friends over the course of a year in a Santa Monica apartment complex.

To say that the guys weren’t amused would be a vast understatement, but apologies weren’t exactly forthcoming. Added to that, the sharpie marker made the removal of the handiwork all that more difficult. Still, they were in Hawaii and even the sour moods of the guys couldn’t ruin the girls’ enthusiasm.
So, after checking into their suites and making sure that all of the luggage was there, and to Amy’s delight; the promised surfboards… the girls decided to head down to the pool.
And once the guys had taken showers and scrubbed as much of the sharpie off as possible, they were also poolside.
“I think you should buy me a drink,” Alex suggested to the redhead.
“And I think you should get over it,” Amy replied, pinching his cheek for emphasis. “We’re on vacation, in Hawaii, all expenses paid.” Swiping his sunglasses and putting them on her face she continued, “And we’ll be here for two weeks. So you might as well enjoy it.”
And when Alex said nothing, A.J rolled his eyes, “you would have done the exact same thing to any of us.”
Alex couldn’t exactly argue that because it was true, and for the most part he was just sore that he hadn’t been awake to participate instead of being a victim.
But that still didn’t mean that he was exactly thrilled with what had happened.
