Notes: Unrelated to anything else in this set and takes place post-Lita's retirement.
The first time that she meets him is because Velvet happens to have an extra ticket to Warped Tour and Lita can’t pass up the opportunity. And though she doesn’t end up hanging out with her friend that much during the day, Lita doesn’t regret going. By the time all is said and done, Lita’s made a new friend in Alex Shelley, the two conversing about music and movies amidst seeing numerous bands.
It’s because of this newfound friendship that Lita finally decides to listen to the CD that Velvet had sent, the blonde Knockout insisting that the former diva will like it, if she just gives it a chance.
And so she does and she admits that Velvet is right, Lita does enjoy the sound, enough so that she decides to take a little trip to Detroit with the Connecticut native to hear the band in person; Velvet assuring Lita that they’ll get in and be able to meet the band if Lita really wants to. Lita insists that it’s not really necessary, but humors her friend anyway after they’ve arrived to the venue.
Lita is reminded, all too well, of a Luchagors concert, the gritty environment almost welcoming with its familiarity. Not that she’s been in this particular venue, but it has that vibe and feel to it.
She enjoys herself at the concert as well, blending in with the crowd easily because this is, as Velvet predicted, Lita’s type of scene. The two women are seated at a table, waiting for two of the band members in particular though Lita’s also introduced to all members of the band. Once again, the former diva finds herself in conversation with Alex, the brunette male commenting about her Misfits t-shirt.
It’s not her last trip to Detroit and when Velvet suggests that Lita should visit Orlando and maybe attend a taping or two, Lita accepts the offer without much hesitation.
