Amy wakes the next morning to the tantalizing smell of pancakes, turkey bacon and a tofu scramble instead of scrambled eggs. Thankfully the luring aroma of coffee interlaces beautifully with the food, tempting the redhead to attempt some movement from her comfortable bed.
Never mind the fact that she’s having a difficult time moving thanks in part to the human pillow beside her and the pounding headache courtesy of her hangover.
She vaguely recalls going shot for shot with John, Chris, and Randy at the bar… and before that downing some fruity concoction at the bowling alley, both in victory and in defeat. And since she’s fully dressed, Amy knows that she hasn’t been as entirely irresponsible as she could have been last night.
It still takes her several minutes, that tick by like hours, before the redhead finally begins to piece back the rest of the celebration that was last night. As the memories come back, she also begins to understand why Alex, A.J and Christy are also occupying her bed instead of being in their own respective apartments.
Her younger sister had also gone shot for shot at the bar and was solely responsible for the fruity concoctions at the bowling alley. A.J and Alex had gotten into a beer drinking contest with some guy named Hurricane… or was it Storm? Maybe one of them would be able to tell her later. Regardless, they’d gotten into a drinking contest and somehow, Amy and Christy had also gotten involved.
Rather than wake up their already sleeping roommates, A.J, Christy and Alex had come back to Amy’s apartment with her; the redhead telling them to crash wherever and not really expecting for all three of them to take her bed.
Now, as she fully sat up, Christy captured the pillow her sister had been using, A.J curling up closer to the younger of the two Dumas siblings. Alex seemed dangerously close to rolling out of the bed now that Amy wasn’t there, the woman deciding to gently wake him up before he crashed.
