It's a Sunday Poll...

May 07, 2006 13:02

So Jr woke up at 6:45 am this morning, and it was my turn to get up with him, so I bring you this poll, inspired by Much More Music's Retro Hits

It's 80's confession time!

Poll 80's Confessions

Does anyone have the song "Keep Your Hands to Yourself" by the Georgia Satellites? I've got it stuck in my head now. *g*

I don't have the Georgia Satellites, but I have a version by The Calling if you want it from the Sweet Home Alabama soundtrack. :D

You know, Jelly shoes NEVER went out of fashion here. Everyone in every age has them, in several different colors, and it's just *normal*. Like, it's probably a 50-50 split between jelly shoes and tennis shoes for everyday wear.

Nobody wears them much over here, but I did see them the other day at the local department store. All I remember is the ones I owned weren't very comfortable.

Luckily, I'm (almost) young enough to come out of the 80's unscathed. Unfortunately, I have photographic evidence of crimping my hair for my first grade school pictures in 1989, and I know I owned some stirrup pants and a pair of bike shorts with an attached skirt. Oh the horror!

And here you go:

AWESOME! Thanks hon!

Oh yes, I remember the spandex bike shorts that became so popular. *hee*

Don't forget those shirt tie things. *g*

Every now and then, I still get the urge to play with a hair crimper. Plus, it doubled as a nice fake microphone for when you I pretended to be Madonna's backup singer. *reminisces*

Very true. I remember my hair crimper had three different plates you could put on it for varying degrees of crimpiness. How bad is that?
