While I was barely alive in the '80s, I did used to have headbands and stirrup pants. Oh god, and horrible spandex bike shorts. *shudders*

Horrible NEON spandex bike shorts. I remember making my parents drive around for a whole day to find just the perfect pair. /geek

I didn't have any swatches but OMG I WANTED ONE SO BAD. Also? Those band/belt things so you could cinch in the oversized tunic that you were wearing over your leggings in at the waist.

In hot pink. And black stripe.

I remember really, really wanting a cabbage patch kid. Sadly, I didn't get one until the end of the craze, but I still have it -- somewhere. :)
