Nice to meet you too! I'm Usagi, like I just said. And I first thought the diary was maybe talking to me, but it's really just other people using it too, huh..?

Eh? You know Ami-chan too? She's one of my best friends back home!

[ Aaand so, after their whole conversation, Ami said she was going to introduce her housemate to Usagi - and hey, if it's a friend of Ami's, she pretty excited! ]

[Ami's pretty sure Dil's home, by all the little signs a ten-year-old boy tends to leave all over the house when he's inside it. She can't help a slight smile.]

[He is, but he actually comes out of the other room wearing, of all things, a welding mask. Not that he was welding, that would be dangerous, but he wanted it to aide in his concentration as he considered parts which would make up his newest invention. this also means he doesn't have that hat on

And he comes out wit ha wave and the lifts the mask]

[ ... Well, that mask is a little unexpected - for a moment Usagi asks herself whether she's in a horror movie - but when he lifts it, the surprise disappears and she beams a smile instead. ]

Welcome to Luceti, that journal you found actually is connected to a network of many other journals. It's rather like a den den mushi network, if you have those in your world, but with a much broader range.

Oh, that wouldn't be edible then.. Well, they eat snails in France but I wouldn't want to eat one! They seem so slimy and just.. yucky! Communicating with snails would be sort of cool though..
