Thank you, Ceodore. I can probably manage that in a few days. I...what are you doing?

[Oh yes, she heard those noises.]

Putting up the tent.

[Also flicking his hand to distract from the pain.]

[A soft sigh.]

Ceodore...did something happen while I was away? Why are you avoiding home? ...well, more than usual.

No, nothing.

[He's lying. And he's very bad at lying. But he's not about to go airing someone else's dirty laundry. Besides, this is more about his own insecurities than anything else.]

I just thought... it'd be nice to go camping.

Just setting up camp. [Whacking his thumb wasn't part of the plan, okay?]

Well yeah. It's secluded and close to a water source. Why not?

[Noticing that the boy has disappeared during the last few days, Edward finds it not surprising to hear this message via journal. With a deep sigh, Edward tries to compose himself before he let's Kain have a piece of his mind. Ever since the poor boy arrived here, the dragoon has acted anything but kind towards the lad. Ceodore felt unwelcome within this home despite all of them being merely past versions of the people knows. Thinking that this matter of Kain has gone too far, Edward wished he could have some stern words with Kain regarding his demeanor, but he knows the dragoon wouldn't listen to him.

Kain listens to no one, not even Rydia herself.

Wandering towards the waterside in search for the youth, the Damcyan Prince was surprised to see a tent nearby. Frowning at the sight before him, Edward approached with a smile he had to offer towards the unfortunate boy.]

So this is where you've been hiding?

E-Edward!

[Yipes! He wasn't counting on someone finding him.]

I thought it'd be good to get out for a while.

[Edward nearly smirked at the boy since it seems he has caught him in the middle of his unannounced exile. Giving the camp site a slight inspection, the bard smiled kindly towards Ceodore.]

Oh? Is that all?

Of course!

[Really, Ceodore can't lie to save his life. Mercifully, his life isn't hanging in the balance at the moment.]

[Terra likewise isn't up to trying Moro's patience. She isn't sure if the wolf god has ever seen her Esper self gliding around the forest, but right now hardly seems the best time to find out. Instead, she reaches the shore and glances around for a good place to sit and reflect, or just enjoy the quiet.

...of course, that's when the sound of someone setting up camp attract her attention. She follows the noises, and jumps upon hearing the sudden cry. Wait, is that....]

...Ceodore?

[Augh, what luck. Getting caught smashing your thumb like an idiot. Ceodore stands up, fighting off a wince from pain and pulls out a smile.]

Hey, Terra.

[Terra winces for Ceodore's sake.]

Hello, Ceodore. Do you want help? I've been camping, before....

Uh, sure, if you like.

[Back to hammering in the tent stakes.]

You could hold the tent down on the other side until I'm done.

**Ahh, Ceodore's camping. Looks like a fun time! No, not really, but Val shall approach anyway, considering it's Ceodore.**

Having fun there, dear? **This would be before whacking his thumb, I'd hope!**

[Happiness! It's someone who Ceodore's actually quite pleased to see who doesn't loathe him.]

Hey. Uh, yeah, I guess you could say that. It was... time to get out of the house. For now.

[Or forever, depending on a certain grumpy ass dragoon living there.]

**Happiness indeed! And what's more, she's clothed differently today! She wears a long denim skirt cut open over one leg, and a matching tubetop that opened in the middle with some loose drawstrings (somehow she couldn't get it closed around her large chest, or didn't want to.)**

Oh? Was it really? **She descended closer, still hovering over the ground.** Is that really it? **She knows how he lives with**

[The hovering always impresses him. The clothes are an attractive choice too. Don't mind the psuedo-cousin staring.]

Y-yeah, it... sort of. I need to do this.
