The nation can best honor the dead by "defeating the terrorists. ...and by laying the foundation for a generation of peace," Bush said.It's that philosophy that keeps the extremist terrorist organizations going. Is it any wonder the majority of the world currently views the US military in a negative and disgusted light ( Read more... )

Bush = dumb dumb dumb

Apple milk doesn't sound too bad but I would rather have warm apple pie with a thin slice of chedder.

When milk was first introduced in Taiwan, it wasn't very popular because you could get all the same health benefits with superior-in-taste soy milk (not my opinion...I hate soy milk) and other items without the hassle of throwing your digestive system in a downward spiral. So marketing execs in a company came up with apple milk, which became very popular because people are more willing to put up with negative side effects for a yummier substance.

Now various companies produce a whole fruit salad of flavors.

What about pills that help you digest lactose? I cannot believe that in a population of people who are like 85% lactose intolerant that they don't have lactose free milk.

I don't know about you, but I honor my dead by celebrating life and not taking things for granted. Not by killing people.

Pills? ....you don't know the mindset of the population. Their attitude is "Why take medication? You don't need it. Brave it for a few months and you'll be fine." Constant diarhea will eventually go away, and your body will be forced into complacence.

As for lactose-free --again, mindset is an issue. The Taiwanese will happily muck with flavors, but changing the fundamental composition of a 'natural and therefore healthy' substance? Perish the thought.

And if you think I'm exaggerating...I live with my mom, and her sisters regularly swing by. Not to mention all the lovely TV programs that explain precisely how to live a clean, natural life with clean, natural foods and substances.

The apple-flavored milk and strawberry milk things are not intended as 'healthy' alternatives, I think; generally accepted as 'sports drink' category type liquids.

Not that it really makes all that much sense, no. *sigh*
