In other news, I asked my mom about lactose free milk. Not available here --most Taiwanese either opt for soy or simply deal with the unpleasant side effects of drinking milk. O_o Not having lactose-free varieties does not surprise me --they really don't like mucking too much with things for health reasons --but offer up a new flavor and they're all over it. Apple milk, anyone?
The other day I dreamt I came thisclose to killing a pet rabbit by sheer neglect; I hadn't fed it in months. (Dreamworld doesn't have to make realistic sense.) I woke up feeling horribly guilty and cranky.
