Fanfiction rocks my world. Especially when it makes me laugh.
Miroku looked from Hojo to Kaede and back. The young man wore what he supposed was his usual expression of vacant, cheerful, openness. Kaede's face was much harder to read. By his best guess, though, she found the echo in Hojo's skull to be a little unnerving.

I've read Dead Famous, but I don't know...AU fics in the IY fandom really aren't my thing. Hell, AU fics in any fandom aren't my thing. AR fics, on the other hand, I can handle pretty well. (AR = Alternate Reality, generally based on a single event that didn't go according to canon. Sadly, the term is often confused with AU, so AU is the label placed on EVERYTHING, even when it's just a detour from the original plotline. *coughs* Sorry, minor peeve of mine.)
Anyway, back to Dead Famous. It was a fun read, but ultimately not my thing. I do love my classic IY/Kag OTP in addition to Sess/Kag stories. Becky Tailweaver's The White Dog series is amazing. And if I may attempt to convert you to the Sess/Kag fandom with some of the best of the best:
Laying Among Dokatsu Kagome finds an injured Sesshoumaru. Political and romantic mayhem ensue.
