Lots of you have been aware of the issues of trying to get Dave his green card and/or work authorization, with the most recent being the government sending the wrong paperwork to us for the work auth, resulting in our having to refile again, along with being told that the green card itself wouldn't process until this time next year.

Yesterday there was a storm working up. I was in the bathroom. Cheese the Cat was in there as well, drinking from his dixie cup. So yah, I lost another job. Had a very major dental emergency, missed four days in a row. Despite having left a message for the boss and speaking directly with someone in HR, no one told me "hey, come in anyway, even though you don't have any teeth at all at the moment."
