Been out for most of the month and part of the other. Writing of course. I'm working on the huge YA that will take me an awful lot of time. I don't count on finishing soon. But it's big, it's magic and I'm enjoying the whole process ( Read more... )

Congratulations on the send off. If you get a rejection think of it this way: "It was one person's (or how ever many you sent it to) opinion. I will learn how to make book better or query better or this is not my time, yet. I will keep trying. I will persevere."

Thanks! Will try to but I know rejection will be hard.
I love this small chapter book a lot, been working on it for almost a year at intervals. And don't know how to make it better.

I am! At least I dared, that's a lot more than last year!
So maybe this year is being the year of daring. Let's just hope next one is the year of publishing :)

It is a good thing. You cannot call yourself a writer unless you have been rejected (OK, you can if you are published, but you need to submit, either way!).

Thanks for the welcome! I thought it was much more scarier but this thing of sending and just having to wait... it kind of looses the hype of the momentum after hitting the send button :).
