I saw some pictures of this a few days ago. Sent them to Cheshil, though he either didn't see them, or didn't dignify me with a response. Those spiders also eat birds. Isn't Australia a lovely country?
Maybe they ought to consider importing the things to Guam; the snake it's eating is a Brown Treesnake, which is an invasive on the island that has managed to wipe out almost all of the native birds and mammals.
