I am reading the book Twilight.

Before you start checking the sky to make sure it's not falling, let me explain myself.

I was curious.

If it helps, think of yourself as taking a big, sparkly, word-shaped bullet for the rest of your flist. You're reading Twilight so that we don't have to!

I wish I could remember which site mentioned it (TV Tropes, maybe? I'll have to check), but I definitely flipped out when I read it. I mean, I guess it's an understandable change in personality from an in-universe perspective, since Cloud no longer had to put his feelings on the backburner and keep hunting Sephiroth, but to do it for that reason? Nuh uh. Not cool.

Whenever I get to a book that terrible, I just put it down. Forget Determination, I just don't do that sort of thing to myself.

That's why I did really badly on "The Color Purple" test.

Part of the reason I'm going all the way through this book is so that I can mock it properly. That way, no one can accuse me of not knowing what I'm talking about.
