Yawn and yay
Back from a whirlwind tour of eastern Quebec (1400km round trip in 3 days, by bus, car and train) to visit my dad in his new home near Rimouski. We lost Max today. He was 11, a goodly span for a Basset Hound. He was happy and loving to the end, and went peacefully. -

Hurricane season is upon us, which means that lunacy_gal is sore and achy and quite antisocial. Stupid hurricanes... -
Kitten dreams
A sweet and loving kitty cat passed away today. Turkey, so called because he was born on Thanksgiving day. My brother's cat, though he stayed with my mom for a while, a few years ago. There never was a more loving, affectionate and playful cat, and he will be sorely missed. -
Argh
There would appear to be a good reason why they make you wait half an hour after an allergy shot before you can leave the doctor's office - I had a bad-ish reaction twenty minutes in. Sudden dizziness and tightness of throat does not a happy lunacy_gal make (and tends to concern the allergist's staff, too...) -
Yay (and yawn)
The weather, for once, was not hot enough to melt steel today, which made it a good day for my before-birthday-barbecue-bash-with-buddies. I love it when one group of wonderful friends meets another group of wonderful friends and become all wonderful together. -
