Air repair, redux

The bad news: Remember in January when my MacBook Air hinge broke? It would appear the hinges have a lifespan of 11 months. Yes, the same exact thing happened again a few days ago.

The good news: Apple now treats this problem as a product defect. While I wasn't at all happy to have to get the same issue repaired again, I was relieved to know

Glad you're back in action... bummer you've got this hanging over your head in under a year. Maybe you oughta just order the extra hinges and keep 'em on hand for the next time.
