nonemployment is almost here!

I gave myself the month of February off from writing. I thought that with the free time when I'd usually be working on my novels, I'd make some LJ posts about my novels, but that didn't end up happening. This is my final week of work, so starting next week, I'll have lots of time for both writing and meta-writing.

I am in love with my Easy Spirit fuzzy slippers.

I never for a second have missed working at MetLife (where I was for 17 years), and don't even miss the work part of Millionaire (though I do still miss the people).

That's exactly the kind I got! That was what my old pair was, and they were great, so it was an easy decision to just order another pair.
