MAIN CHAPPIE - 3 Half Cup of Cold Green Tea
Once again, his tea got cold. But he had drank at least half of it, so he really wasn't going to make a big deal of it, and he knew it wasn't his place to go, and ask for it to be warmed again. And he would have just grabbed the cup, drink it all in one go, no matter how cold, if he could only tear his eyes, and mind from the text message his mother had sent. What was he to do? Go home, and finally spend a decent Christmas, after three failed attempts with the bassist. Or stay back, and watch as the man he loved, left him on one of the most important days of the year for him.
Then again, it wasn't like he ever told him that; had he? He never sat down with the bassist, locked their eyes together, and said I love you. In his defense, he really didn't think it necessary, not after some of the things that had been going on between the two. Was it necessary to always have to point out thing? Even things that are so obvious to anybody?
-This was by far ...- suddenly uttered the brunette, who was ungracefully slouched on their couch absently staring at the mess of food, wrapping paper, and what more, around their living room -... the most tiring extravagant Christmas party I have ever been to- he concluded, nodding to himself, as the blond merely giggled, dropping on said couch right next to him.
-Always complaining are we not!- replied the younger in a pretense anger tone, playfully kicking on of the other's legs, which were invading his personal space -... but you had fun right ...- he then tentatively inquired, turning to regard the taller, who was still fixed staring at some random point in front of him.
-Yes … it was fun … thank you - admitted, and thanked Yuuto, turning towards the blond, and giving him a sincere smile, at which the younger flashed a quick one, and swiftly turned away, feeling himself blush, and his heartbeat race; that had been the first time he realized, that whatever he felt might have been more than friendship - ...even though … I didn't get to do everything that you could do on Christmas day ...- he then tiredly pointed out, sitting up straight, and lightly grinning at a bemused Jin, who was wondering exactly what else he could have been talking about, for he had purposely made sure that they'd do everything that was usually done on the day just for him. They sang songs, they opened presents under a majestic tree, which he had taken so much time in decorating, they had taken some time to go out and play with snow, with some of their guests, they also played table games, all while eating and drinking typical Christmas dishes, and beverages -... well ...- stated the brunette pulling himself up on his feet, while stretching out his arms -... I think we can clean this tomorrow, ne?- he then inquired, turning his head around to look down, at a smiling and nodding Jin -... okay then … Oyasumi - greeted the taller, walking towards the exit of the living room, under the younger's mesmerized eyes.
-Anything wrong? ...- suddenly inquired Jin, noticing the bassist suddenly bending down to pick up something by the entrance.
-An … earring ….- suddenly stated the older observing the shining object -... one of our guests might have forg- tried to guess the elder, but couldn't finish his statement, suddenly finding the drummer in front of him, happily snatching said object from his hands, and happily jumping.
-Aaaaaaaah, I had been looking for this, it is so small, I thought I would never find it again!- cheerfully exclaimed the younger, radiantly staring at the piece of jewelery -... thank you Yuu-ku- he then resumed, but stopped as he revolved his gaze to the taller, who was for some reason looking upwards. Swiftly following his gaze, he looked upwards as well, and his heart nearly stopped; they were at the entrance, they were under a mistletoe.
-It caught us right to the end ...- nonchalantly stated the bassist, looking down, at a gaze averting Jin, who hadn't planned for this in the least. In fact, until some hours ago, he hadn't even thought of the fact that they ever be together under a mistletoe, or that he'd feel so terribly nervous about it, just now realizing how much he wanted a kiss from the other, and at the same time, because of his shyness, not really.
-We don't have to ...- nervously dismissed the drummer, with a giggle -... I mean I don't think anything would happen if we- he was about to point out, but couldn't, at least not with Yuuto's lips on his. They stayed unmoving, their lips on each other, for what Jin hoped could have been an eternity, as he closed his eyes, and lingered in the feeling, hoping that the elder wouldn't hear his ragingly beating heart.
-Alright there? ...- suddenly stated Yuuto's voice, at which the younger quickly opened and blinked his eyes opened, staring at the questioning expression on Yuuto's face.
-Yeah, yeah, just a kiss under the mistletoe - quickly shrugged away the younger, still standing put in his position
-and with this ...- resumed the taller -... looks like I've got to do everything “Christmassy”- declared the older with a diverted chuckle, receiving a dejected nod by the gaze averting blond, who should have predicted that such thing would have obviously been dismissed as a “following the tradition”, even though he could have sworn feeling some sort of connection; guessed he was wrong.
And that was how their first kiss happened, during their second Christmas together, or first real one, giving the the actual first one they had spent moving in. First kiss of, unfortunately, many other.
