The day has come... my beloved QWERTY keyboard/flips-two-ways-phone has become really hard to use, and not just for an hour or so like it used to. After two straight frustrating days, I decided to either fix it or ditch it -- and no one wants to touch the thing. Definitely get a protective case for the smartphone if it seems like it'd break easily. I didn't need one for my old Nokia (the floor was in more danger of cracking than the phone when dropped) but I'm not taking any chances with my Samsung Galaxy, lol.

Haha, your poor floor! I loved that I could drop that phone on the floor of Target and have pieces shoot out everywhere, and I'd just put it back together again like nothing had happened. I haven't even dropped it in a while but I suppose the wires may have gotten loose somehow from that over the years. I did pick out a sturdy case. My eye was first drawn to the glittery pink water case, but the guy pointed out it was more pretty than sturdy... at least the one I got is green, my fave color :)

Oh dang I forgot I don't have any Kylo icons over here... I do have a Rey though...

Yeah it's not too bad... I turned off the "swipe to call" feature and still managed to accidentally call someone, but at least it let me cancel it quickly enough that time, lol. I like that I don't have to ask people NOT to use emojis anymore! The old phone would just garble the whole message if there was an emoji anywhere in there.

Merry Christmas! So far so good. My little 8-year-old friend is glad she can now send me emojis from Mommy's phone :) I THINK I already emailed all the pics I care about to myself off the old phone, but some of the locked texts would be nice to retrieve.

Meeep! As you can see I don't post much but the journal is not completely in the grave yet (I try to remember to check the f-list at least every week or two) so if you do start updating more I should see the entries :)
