Thanks! Have you tried it before or are you just assuming you can't do it? I'm sure I've said "I can't do it" a billion times but... with this idea, I think I can. It's not going to be a serious novel or anything :D
I never tried it. My first problem is that I don't have a detailed enough outline. My second is there are not enough hours in a day for me to sit at the comp and write that many words.
But watch I say all this now, lol, and one day you'll see an entry on my journal: "I singed up for NaNo!"
You sound very confident though and I wish you luck :D *hugs*
A peppermint chocolate chip milkshake. Yum! So your weather is a bit warmer than ours then? :D I had a dark cherry mocha from the Starbucks Christmas range.
She who struggles to write 1000 word fic is going to write 50,000 words in one month. Well, good luck.
-Oh yum, I love Starbucks' holiday drinks! I might be going there later today with a friend and I'll be sure to get something Christmasy if I do. And yes I'm sure my weather's warmer than yours. It's bright and sunny and I don't need to put the heat on in the house :)
-You sound unconvinced, my dear Kate! You would have some interest in it, as there will be at least one Obi/Ani part, UGHHHHHH I dread writing that part already!
You sound unconvinced, my dear Kate! Yep, speaking as someone who has terrible trouble writing anything substantial and doesn't trust my writing abilities enough to enter writing contests or fic exchanges, it sounds like a pretty foolish endeavour but good luck anyway. And you must be desperate for something to fill the space if you're willingly putting O/A in there. :P
I'm afraid to go read your latest endeavor but I suppose I should force myself to... in preparation?
AHHHHH WHAT IS THIS ICON DEFILING MY LJ!!!!
*sigh* And the longer I make that section, the more my wordcount is padded, so that should motivate me. Gag. The cool thing about nano is that it doesn't have to be 50,000 perfect words -- it's just to get them out there, on paper/screen, and you can edit later! 1667 words per day of non-perfection. Do-able!

Dammit Wendy's LJ friend... the urge to make a snarky comment is only negated by the fact that I don't know you.

D: Oh man that sounds so good.
You always make me miss my kitty, even though he's a bastard and hates cuddles.

Awww. I have plenty of cuddlebunnies to spare over here. *sends you one*
