Who sleeps in bed next to you?
My laptop. Hee. And assorted kitties.
Have you ever lied to a teacher to get out of a deadline?
I don't think so? Then again, it's been a bazillion years since I've been in school, so.
What kind of magazines do you read?
Mags about cats and baseball. Oh, and I have a free subscription to Woman's Day right now -- those are cool for the recipes I'll probably never use but save anyway.
What's your occupation?
"Boring office job" - though since the increase in my workload I haven't had much time to slack! (yay job security)
What's really creepy?
Anything with more than 4 legs. EWWW.
Who is your celebrity crush?
Honestly I don't really have one at the moment. Weird, now that I think about it. Not counting the old standby Hayden Christensen!
What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
I would say Star Wars but it's... not really? OMG am I outgrowing my fangirlishness? Woe!
What are you listening to right now?
The soothing hum of the kitties' water fountain. By the time I finished this, Aaron woke up. He's now in the shower whistling some nameless tune. (he's staying here again while he has his mall store over the holidays)
What food could you eat every day for weeks and not get sick of?
You think I'm going to say cake but no! It's mac'n'cheese, definitely.

Livejournal and Gmail.
What was the last thing you bought?
A peppermint chocolate chip milkshake. Yum!
What was the cutest thing you've seen today?
Snickers and Gryffin are curled up together next to me here. Awwww. They usually don't sleep together like that but I guess when they both want to be near Mommy they do!
Does the weather affect your mood?
Sometimes. I usually get deliriously happy when it rains because it so rarely does!
What is your zodiac sign?
Pisces
Do you want to learn another language?
Nah, I'm lazy. I know a little bit of Spanish and a little bit of sign language.

And questions from
queen_meep:
1. What's the absolute maximum amount of cats you will ever have? And, don't lie to yourself, you HAVE TO COUNT THE OUTDOOR KITTIES.
Ha ha! Well, there are several tiers of the kitty/owner bond here. There are the strays that I feed but don't pet, the strays that come inside and let me pet them, the strays that come in and cuddle AND I took to the vet for snip-snip/shots, and then MY cats, who don't go outside except when Anakin sneaks out. There is no maximum to the first two. The second two, I wanna say I'm at my max now with 5. But who knows >.> I fall in love with kitties far too easily!
2. What made you pick your current job?
I hated my job and went looking for other clerical jobs... back in 2000 when the pickin' was good! I went on 3 interviews within a week and got 2 job offers. I liked how this company was growing whereas my other was shrinking... and helping people with disabilities sounded like the mission of a company I'd be proud to be a part of. After working here for a year and a half, a payroll job opened up, and I've always liked payroll so I applied for it and got it :) I'm happy even though it's pretty much a dead-end job, since I don't have an accounting degree (nor do I care to move up into management - I like my peon-ness!).
3. If someone gave you a million dollars, what would you do with it?
I'd pay off my house and my brother's house, pay off my credit cards, spread money out between my family and friends a bit :) and donate to the animal charities I support. Then I'd fix up my house, doing all the things to it that I've been putting off. And I'd probably save/invest the rest. Honestly I don't think I'd change my lifestyle too much. But how nice it would be to not have to worry about money!
4. Why do you like the character Palpatine so much?
Hee! Actually, I didn't care about him much before I started roleplaying the OOC version of him. That character has heavily influenced my Palpatine love. Trying to mix some of him into canon Palpatine without losing canon believability is a fun challenge. I like to portray him as being more human than meets the eye. He's such a brilliant, evil bastard - what's not to love? :D
5. If you were forced to only pick one food to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Mac'n'cheese! I could never get sick of it, I swear! Plus it's cheap :)

I have now added it to the List of Doom, which makes it official: I am going to participate in the madness that is NaNoWriMo in 2010. Oh yes! She who struggles to write 1000 word fic is going to write 50,000 words in one month. I have a whole year to outline every tiny detail of my idea!
And what a good excuse it will be to not do anything social for a whole month. Hee!
