if your company allows you to claim your phone bills, will you give out your hp no to your clients when they ask for it?

I think so lor. Just in case they cannot get me, they'll compplain to bossy and bossy give me bad appraisal.

techinically if they pay, it becomes a non private phone so yes should give. i give mine out & even print in on my namecards. also easier coz i can get things done anywhere & no need to always be in the office.

yeah thats what i thought. my colleague was telling me off for giving a client her hp no. i mean that client is a bit hard to manage but i feel that its up to us to manage her but we should still give when they ask for it

maybe your colleague feel there is no need to work out of office hours & that she is always contactable & is at her desk all the time. :P

I give only for official work reasons and if I see the need for clients or colleagues to contact me when I am out of office.

yupp. i think nowadays its the norm for people to use mobile rather than DID. easier to reach and more efficient.

but of course, the downside is, you become accessible 24/7. :(
