Yeah, they were trying to threaten me. But they let me off the hook because I only missed out during the holidays.

Sounds like a nice summary of what happened over the past couple of weeks or so. Talk about being in a huge mess... but what's this about working for a library? Are you not going to be a detective here?

Oh, believe me. I wasn't planning on giving up hope on making sure that there will be a hero of justice for the people here... I just thought that I didn't have someone to rely on to help me out for that moment there.

Also, if you need help on something, you can trust me with it. From the whole case about people coming here and not knowing why to the reason behind the brainwashing behind certain citizens of this town, there is no way that I can do this all by myself... as much as it hurts my pride to admit that but I'm more of a fighter than a strategist. So if you are still are going to continue on with your detective work, then there is a chance that we'll be working together then to solve this mystery... right?

That's the spirit! Rely on me. I'll do whatever it takes.

And I'll be sure to remember to come to you for help, Shirou, if I ever need it. Surely if you want, we can go through some of the mysteries together and scientifically. The more the merrier. I wouldn't usually say it, but well. Sometimes two heads or even three or even more are better than one. Maybe there are some people you can round up? I already have an assistant.

I usually have a lot more chemicals to work with, so. The ones I have now aren't as good as they could be.
