Our South Island Adventure

To relax ourselves mentally Brian and I took our first trip to the south island between Christmas and New Years. We headed to Picton to walk the 71k Queen Charlotte Track. And we had a great time.

That looks spectacular! Did you need to plan ahead for this outing, or was it a more 'spur-of-the-moment' thing? I am very much desiring to go walkabout and your pictures make me want to leap in the car and drive to the ferry right now. Thank you so much for sharing those lovely images.

Thank you for the compliment! I would totally recommend this tramp, it was a really beautiful one. You do have to plan ahead at the moment just because it is the busy season and stuff is pretty booked up, but any other time of the year I think you could just show up.
