In other words... I think I'll put up an update so y'all know I'm still kicking.

Let see... I'm still working outrageous hours at Ye Olde Fancy Bank Haus.  I work in a small branch and with a full staff there is eight people.  Unfortunately, the two full time tellers are on leave.  One was majorly sick and has only been there for half of the time

Happy Cinco De Mayo!

Poor Lulu. Life is always so crazy, with crazy people, and boxes getting thrown at your head. But at least now you're gelling with your new job at Ye Olde Fancy Bank Haus, and since you've worked so hard you now have some extra change to splurge on vacation time.

And please do share pics of the new house. I'm sure it looks marvelous. :3

Hahaha! I was going to have plans for Cinco de Mayo, but then I realized I would rather sleep.

The house still has a lot of work to go. It's starting to look pretty nice now and that makes me happy. I can't wait to decorate it because I have some ideas in mind.

I also have a burning need for an ottaman. XD

Mmm. My Cinco de Mayo involved adventures in margarita-making. It took several attempts before we got the hang of it and whipped out something decent, but after so many trial and errors we increasingly found that taste no longer mattered. XD

Lulu, I'm super excited for your decorating plans. And your ottaman ambitions! Even with a lot of work to go, it sounds like your house is shaping up into a nice home. A LULU HOME.

They are little vignettes of my life. I would have structured it properly, but I've been very scatterbrained of late. :S

And I have no idea why the previous owners put carpet in the kitchen. It was pretty gross and definitely needs to be pulled.
