Oh Lu, I do not envy you, I remember the paperwork making my heart shrivel up. I still feel ill looking at 'THE-MASSIVE-FILE-OF-HOUSE-STUFF-AND-MONEY-THINGS'

ouch... I feel your pain. Finalizing our mortgage was a royal pain in the butt - I remember jumping through hoops collecting all sorts of paperwork, just to get jerked around by the people at the bank. Hang in there.

See... my dad has excellent credit, so he can usually walk in, ask for what he wants and get it. He's pretty clear about that in the first minutes. The people try to expedite the process in fear of loosing him to a competitor. They printed out a list of every step and thing we would need. That helped out a lot.

But the insurance people we were working with were the peons and it isn't their signature on the bottom of the paperwork. Whoever prepared the paperwork is gonna get reamed on Monday. They wasted my time, my dad's, the back office and two SuperAgents.

The debt collection things was filed on January, so i guess it is good that it is no too old. It's just a bummer because I don't really know how to fix it. I'm just guessing.

I think I'm going to call them on my day off and try to figure out what to do next. I got a free credit report and found out that it was originally from DirectTV. I guess someone wanted a couple of months of free cable. :/
