It didn't take long until he grew restless. There was a lot of people walking back and forth in the corridor, looking busy. All kinds. No demons so far, and for that Xander was grateful. He wasn't sure how he'd react if he saw a demon walk down the corridor discussing with a lawyer.... The thought alone made him grin. He thought about what that man

Xander was on the right floor though,because Lilah's assistant Abby recgonized him from when they walked by her desk before. She smiled and waved him over to her desk. She figured he'd gotten a bit lost and was probably looking for her boss.

"Righto." he made a mock-salute, and walked towards her office-door to see if he could find Abby. She'd been friendly enough when he talked to her eariler. At the door though, he turned "Don't you wanna talk to her first though?"

"No, it'll be fine." They did this sort of thing all the time here,so Abby becoming Lindsey's newest assistant wasn't that big of a deal. She just watched him leave to go find Abby.

He just nodded at her comment. And walked out the door. He saw Abby sitting by her desk right outside. "Hey. Ehm... It seems there has been some changes... here. I am sorry, but Lilah said you were to go to this Lindsey McDonald? To be his assistant...."

Abby looked up from what she was doing. "What?" She knew that there was a chance that she wasn't likely to stay on as Lilah's assistant, especially after she'd heard all the stories about Lilah's temper. She'd honestly figured though that her leaving the position would be due to getting either fired or killed, not being traded to another lawyer with an office literally a door away.

Xander smiled a bit insecurerly and scratched his neck... "Well... It seems like you have been moved to another office. Ms Morgan asked me to tell you that you are to work for Mr McDonald now. Or... So it would seem. I don't know why she didn't tell you herself?"

Abby sighed knowing that there was really no use in trying to fight it. "Alright,well I guess I should show you what exactly it is that I do for Ms. Morgan then." She waved him over to her side of the desk.

He smiled gratefully at her. "That would be awesome since I kinda just got your job.... Sorry." he added for good measure. It felt kinda weird. But he figured he'd get used to it soon enough.

Abby shrugged. "Don't worry about it, it was bound to happen anyway." She showed him her filing system worked and the different things she had on the computer. She also should him how to work the phone, the large appointment book,and the fax machine

Following Abby around, Xander tried to remember how everything worked and were everything was. He was sure he was going to make a mistake within a couple of hours off being left alone... "Right. I think I got it. How long did it take before you got the hang of it all?" he asked, slightly panicked, again wondering what the heck he got himself into.

Abby smiled. "It took about two weeks or so,it shouldn't be that bad really." She started to gather her things to put in boxes. She wouldn't actually be Mr. McDonald's assistant until Monday.

"That sounds reassuring." He smiled at Abby while she packed. She didn't seem to upset about changing boss. But maybe that was something that happened on a regular basis here, who knows? "You need help with anything?" he asked looking around at her desk, soon to be his.

Abby looked at him as she finished packing things up. "No, I'm good,but thanks anyway." She smiled at him and went back to packing.

"OK." he just said, not knowing what else to do... After looking at Abby packing a bit more, he decided he could go back to Lilah to see what she was up to.

He walked over to her door, and knocked carefully...

Lilah looked up when the knockon her door sounded. "Come in." She said looking up from her computer.

(sorry it took so long, haven't been feeling well.)

Walking in carefully, Xander indicated Abby on the other side of the door. "So... Abby is packing up and am on her way to her new boss. Is there anything you need or anything I need to do today?" He was kinda curious to what 'job' she might need him for... Being a personal assistant could mean alot of things...
