Where are you from originally? Do you think you'll ever move back home to be closer to family? How often do you see your family each year? I'm genuinely curious. I feel as if my family is scattered all over the place. I live close to my parents and elder relatives, but so many family members are elsewhere and it feels funny and hurts my heart

I'm from Wisconsin originally, and I won't go back. My oldest brother and parents now live in AZ most of the year (or all year), and I have one brother in Minneapolis, where I would like to live again someday. I see most of my family two or three times a month (they live an hour away) and my brother once a year if we're lucky.

i was born in new york, but all of my family from there has moved to florida, except my parents, since we moved to texas when i was 8. i go visit my family in florida about once or twice a year -- that's my grandparents and all of my aunts, uncles, and first cousins on my mom's side. my dad's family lives here in texas, but we never see them because we don't get along all that well. i see my parents about once a month -- they live in dallas and i live in austin. my sister just moved to salt lake city so now i see her like every two months i don't plan to move to be closer to any of them.

I'm from Minneapolis and I'll probably never move back. I see my family about 1-2 times a year and although I love them, I feel that I cannot live in the Midwest and be truly happy.

I was raised in Linwood, PA. My mom moved to Dover, Delaware, when I was 12. So I was split between PA and DE during my adolescence. I don't get along very well with my family, so, I go years and years between seeing them. This Christmas I'm going out therem to see my mother and brother and nephew -- should be interesting!
