Receiving a βeta invitation from Blizzard = YAY!
Finding out that it's for Starcraft II and multiplayer-only = Aww.

I'm considering growing a yeard, which is exactly what it sounds like.

I already have a bit of a head start and I don't plan on starting from scratch, so I'll just continue with what I've got now.

Thoughts?

Bad news: Joe finally got a call for a job interview... but it's in Rochester. He declined.

Good news: We haz internets and teevee again. Finally.

Thanks to Joe's sister, brother-in-law and nephew, we got the truck unloaded by 9:30 AM yesterday morning - a fraction of the time it took to load it by ourselves.

I've moved dozens of times in my life, but this one was the most physically taxing. At least I'm starting to feel more human today (as opposed to a massive pile of hurtmeat).

We have arrived at our new home in Buffalo. No internet until Tuesday (unless Joe can wrangle a better appointment when he calls tomorrow).

Using my laptop tethered to my phone's 3G connection. Slow, but functional.

Unplugging for a couple of days. Next stop: Buffalo.

Humility, sincerety and friendship. I discovered these virtues again last weekend. They make me turn into a big puffy cloud of love and cuddles. I thoroughly enjoy that feeling.
