Yesterday I went to Kinki Kids Kinki Y♥U concert at Tokyo Dome!
It was a really great concert, though it was the most un-Johnny's like concert I've been to for a long time! It's obvious that the both of them - Tsuyoshi in particular - is more about the music, more about the "art", than most other Johnny's are.
The goods were all very nice, and I had a hard time limiting myself, but I told my that when it's not Takitsuba - I have to control myself. I did okay, I think, since this was all I bought:
Shopping-bag, penlight, Tsuyo-uchiwa and pamphlet.
The concert opened with [Ai no katamari]. There was a big, sparkly staircase leading from almost the cealing of the Dome, and at the top of that was where they opened the concert. They walked down to the stage both wearing red. Tsuyoshi a jacket and Koichi a long coat. They both looked very handsome - it's especially nice to see Tsuyo looking so healthy and fresh by the end of the year like this, since he usually looks very tired around this time. ♥
The next song was Jet Coaster Romance, and after that everything is all out of order and I don't know much at all of what went on where. ^^;; So I thought I would just mention some of my favorite-parts of the con - this will be nowhere near as long as my usual Takitsuba-reports... (thankfully for all of us! XD)
My and my friend talked about which songs we wanted to hear the most, and both of us wished for most of the old classic Kinki-songs. Me, of course, wishing for all their beautiful ballads more than anything... I got what I wished for! ^^ I got to hear all my favorite Kinki songs save for Slowly, so I feel like a winnar. LOL.
All my favorite songs from the concert are also my favorite Kinki-songs in general, and are as follows: Hakka Candy, To heart, Harmony of December, Eien ni, Natural Thang (♥), Kinki kids forever...
I got SO happy that they sang Natural Thang! I think that's pretty bad of me, since this is a Kinki song to begin with, but I always always always think of takitsubas Natural Thang-performance at Shokura. I can't help it, that's just the way it is. But wither way, that performance has really made me LOVE the song to a crazy level, so I was hoping that they'd perform this song - I didn't think they would, since it's such an oldie, but... they did!!! ♥♥♥
And it was amazing. ^^
I am also a bit embarrassed to admit that I cried three times during the concer; during Hakka Candy, Harmony of December, and then after HoD I was an emotional wreck so I started crying again at one of the next ballads, too, lol. Every single time it happened, it was Tsuyoshi's voice that triggered it. It's just... his voice is out of this world. The first two lines of Harmony of December just made me tear up; it was SO beautiful. ♥
Tokyo Dome is a HUGE arena, and they're only two persons, but I think they did a very good job of moving around enough so that everyone got a chance to see them as close as possible several times. I had two Japanese girls behind me who were both Tsuyoshi-fans and they screamed like crazy every time tsuyoshi got even a little close to us! ♥
The MC was EXTREMELY long, and it was mostly just the two of them talking. I didn't understand much at all, but they talked about bowling at least, and Koichi kept tugging at Tsuyoshi's pants. LOL.
As I said, though, I just have to mention again that it really wasn't very Johnny's-ppoi at all! They only had, I think, three costumes, and that's insanely little for a Johnny's concert!
I'm not complaning about it being different, because I really didn't mind - I LOVED the con!! I just wanted to point out it being different from other concerts I've been to. ^^~♥
I don't know what else to say about it, since I didn't bring my notebook and couldn't take any notes at all during the concert, so I'm really befuddled about both songs and order. But, well, it was really good, and both Tsuyoshi and Koichi are really really talented! ♥ I'm so happy I got to see them live, because both their voices really are extremely beautiful. ♥
After the con, I couldn't fall asleep until laaate, so I'm extreeemely tired today. And on Mondays we have the most confusing teacher in the whole world - she talks SO much and so fast that everyone in class just sits like questionmarks the whole day, lol! I hate feeling stupid for not understanding anything of what she tries to explain. >_
