We started early.
All morning long, all I got
Was my wind-chilled feet.

He kept catching them all day.

By late afternoon.

We left the pier with.

He's back home again;
He's been at a beach condo
For the past few days.

Nice sunny, blue skies,
But the persistent land breeze
Made casting harder.

I enjoyed myself
During the three-day weekend.
Maybe too much? Heh.

Not been to this beach.
Not since Lolo was alive.
Bout of nostalgia.

Rain on interstate.
Country roads through rolling hills.
Back from our road trip.

Sun and clear blue skies;
A pleasant start to Spring Break.
Shame I'm staying in.

When I'm on a break,
I forget my daily tasks.
Really should stop that.

The first of July.
Slightly over a month left
To get my work done.

Last day of Spring Break
Means I can't procrastinate.
There's just no more time.
