Just sitting there in the fridge.
And I can't eat it!

Chocolate muffins...
They are calling out to me
From within the fridge...

Past couple of days
Tempted me with chocolate.
Cookies and brownies!

Officially Spring
Though mornings remain chilly.
Afternoons are warm.

The third temptation:
Serving up some ice cream cones
I can't eat right now.

Of pepperoni pizza
Tempting me as well.

Second temptation:
Chocolate-covered cherries
In an opened bag.

The first temptation:
Cheese stuffed crust pizza slices
I didn't finish.

I can hear fireworks
Somewhere off in the distance.
Midnight approaches.

Went to bed early,
But woke up after midnight.
I knew what to do.
