Yesterday i passed my Class A Lecturer Certification Exam (from the Grand Lodge of North Carolina, A.F. & A. M.) down in Fayetteville. This is a big deal for me becuase it required about 9-10 months of studying my ass off. I am really proud of this. They gave me a fancy certificate, a lapel pin (Masons love their lapel pins), and a carrying card.

Thanks, man

Well, i'm most of the way recovered. Still need some PT, though.

Are you finished with school? Last i heard you would be wrapping things up at NCSU in August...and it's August.

Let me know anytime you are ready to play.

Sir,
I thought you would be a good source of information. I am a member of a Prince Hall lodge in Fayetteville. I initally approched a local AF & AM lodge here and spoke with the secretary about me becomeing a Mason. End situation he said that he was sure that I probably would not be accepted in the lodge because I am in an interacial marrage. So I went to the Prince Hall lodge and I feel accepted and have never felt like I was not wanted. I want to visit other lodges and be able to fellowship with other Masons. Any info that you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Now that Prince Hall Masons are formally recognized by the A.F.&A.M., visitiation should now be possible. From what i gather, though, it would still require a dispensation from both the PHA Grand Lodge as well as the AF&AM Grand Lodge. This should not discourage you from pioneering that effort. I sincerely hope these restriction become relaxed in time as many AF&AM Masons, including myself, are just as eager to visit the PHA lodges as well.

If you are seeking contacts within the AF&AM Grand Lodge for this sort of dispensation, or if you will require an AF&AM Lodge to sponsor the visitation, please let me know if i can help.
