Yeah...
It all just feels like a lost opportunity to really connect with people. Even with the best security, all it takes is one "friend" to copy/paste something sensitive and cause problems.

I've been thinking a lot of the same stuff along those lines. There's a false sense of security in LJ for me sometimes, and I know that's unwise. I've already heard gossip that my superiors found my blog and have been grumbling about it. While they can't technically cause me any trouble for it because I never mention them in any way, and my last name isn't on the account, it's something I need to watch carefully.

Yeah, I'm curious if the larger social sites will run into that paradox: there's nothing interesting to read because everyone is too intimidated.
