The fact that these are actual published novels -- indeed, New York Times bestsellers -- makes me feel a lot better about reading comic books, but also a lot worse about finishing my novel.

Seriously, I have been known to be, in some limited form, a fan of erotic paranormal romance, but this made me squirm in a distinctly unsatisfactory way.
