Summary: Sam finds Kara during the escape from New Caprica with a slightly younger bundle of joy. How does that change their lives?

*Finally* read this after how much time? This is really well written. You've done a great job capturing Kara's state of mind and confusion and Sam's so strong desire to have a family that he has a hard time accepting what she's tell him. Nicely done.

Thanks so much for the comment! I'm trying to get caught up on my replies now that it's a new year. Thanks for the kind words. I'm not totally happy with how this one turned out, the tone somehow, but that's how I meant it to come across that they both were in such different places/having different needs that they couldn't hear each other which is often the case in canon it seems to me.

I have written more set in this au, but it isn't done. We'll see, hopefully one of these days. Thanks again for the feedback!
