These are the things on my mind after an emotionally draining week and four pints on an empty stomach:

1) People don't listen to Jonathan Richmond enough and that is a goddamned shame.

Okay, that's like the worst package re-design in history. Sad.

And my faux-fur wall is so not nearly as fabulous as Barbarella's spaceship, but I do kinda wish I could roll around on it in a foil bikini!

I hate to see good food compromise itself, and the fact that it's a cherished sweet hits hard.

Amen. That made me grin and wince at the same time.

I had already linked the first URL to my little pastry pal ash808 before seeing the travesty of those pristine, classic, creative yummies whored to look like fucking Poppin Fresh.

It's largely moot at this point, I guess, but I'd rather hear that they got bought out than that they decided to do a marketing study and this is what they came up with. It really bugs me, I mean, I LOVE these things, and it used to be part of my Thursday night ritual to pick up an individually wrapped one at the local corner store.

I was under the impression that they were doing well. I converted a ton of people just by word of mouth. Now, I don't want to admit I've ever eaten one.
