LOL. One of my firsts posts in this account was about the unhealthy relationships presented in Disney films. It's here.

I overthink stuff too much sometimes.

My Movie growing up. I used to run around like a lion all the time, lol.
WE ARE SOLMATES, Y/Y? I used to run around while listening to the soundtrack. Hahaha.

People who don't cry when Mufasa dies are simply dead inside. How can you not feel broken during that bit of the movie? HOW?

PS: OMG YOUR ICON. IT IS ADORABLE ♥_♥

Fandom thinks about everything, dude. LOL.

It's my earliest memory of crying during a movie/tv show. It still gets to me. *wibble*
Same here. I saw it with my grandparents when I was 9 and I was pretty much a mess during that part. My grandpa cried too. Eeeee!

Ooooo I love this so much, all of it! The Disney fan girl in me is having a squee fest! I adored UP, definitely my fav of the newer Disney movies, coming close with Toy Story 3. And TLK, we watched that every day in my mothers daycare for a few summers. I got to go see it at IMAX when they did the anniversary release and it was fabulous. psst btw I totally ship Simba/Nala too XD

I cried so hard during Carl and Ellie's story at the begining. And then whenever he'd open that damn Adventure Book and mope I'd be like "OMG I JUST WANT TO HUGE YOU, ADORABLE OLD MAN!"

TLK is one of my favorite movies. Period. Plus, I still enjoy it today as much as I did as a kid. How can you not love that? Heee.

ALSO: HAMLET WITH LIONS.

I'll just overlook the unfortunate implications of Simba/Nala and concentrate on their cuteness instead.

It's bad enough that Disney makes you cry most of the time anyhow, then they go and do it at the beginning, I think even my BF got a little mopey during UP. And I refuse to watch the beginning of Finding Nemo...poor Nemo, I'll just pretend the first minutes didn't happen.

I think that's why those movies stay with us. You sort of make an emotional commitment to them.

First time I cried during a movie was with TLK. I was 9!

I love The Little Mermaid though! I think it's unfair to ask us to pick up favorites when it comes to Disney films. It's like asking you to choose between your children!

Screencaps are from here if you want to take a look around. That site is a blessing.

I love The Lion King, my most favorite Disney movie growing up. I still cry when Mufassa dies, I REGRET NOTHING! :) ...And wait a sec, Simba and Nala are related or something? XD
Up reminds me of my grandpa who died back in 2009, he had that grumpy face. Hehe! I still need to see A Nightmare Before Christmas and Hunchback! :D

PEOPLE WHO DON'T CRY WHEN MUFASA DIES HAVE NO SOUL.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Well, there are only two male lions in the pride... therefore Nala's father is either Mufasa or Scar. So, she's either Simba's cousin or his sister.

I still need to see A Nightmare Before Christmas and Hunchback! :D
I think you'll love TNBC. It seems like the kind of movie you'd dig, JoJo. Highly reccommended.

OMG YES ABOUT HUNCHBACK! Not just the score, but the movie itself is highly underrated. And I completely agree about B&B and TLK. ;A; Oh gosh, you're making me want to marathon these titles. I haven't seen Nightmare in so long~

CO-SIGNED. Seriously, I do not understand how this movie isn't more popular. Yes, it was dramatically different from the source material (but so are ALL Disney movies) yet it's such a great movie on it's own merit. The score is epic, the theme is wonderful and the characters are very real.

Plus Frollo is one of the best Disney villains. He's so creepy.

Oh gosh, you're making me want to marathon these titles. I haven't seen Nightmare in so long~
DO EET. Actually, most of them are up in Youtube. That's how I did my little re-watch. Hunchback was even in HQ.
