First, a left-wing article that I think really cuts to the chase: people in America, even people who generally agree that global-warming is real and needs to be changed aren't likely going to seriously make an effort to do anything about it.

i didn't watch all of these, because I think I might kill myself if I did..... that is probably the easiest way for me to reduce my carbon emissions.

OH MY GOD those Fox clips made me THISCLOSE to gouging my eyes out. I haven't sworn at a screen in a very long time. Let alone multiple times. How do you exist in the same country as a mainstream "news" provider that gives airtime to such complete and utter FUCKTARDS? I'm sorry, 'scuse the French, I just haven't been so angry in a very, very long time. And it's making me angrier by the second to realise this garbage is being broadcast daily on that shitty, shitty excuse for a broadcaster. Oh my God. I have to go breathe in my paper bag now.

Hopefully you can understand why the U.S. makes me so sad and why I'm so skeptical that somehow all Americans are going to be convinced to accept an emissions credits system. You'd have to convince the Fox News-watching people as well which is a huge chunk of Middle America.

The worst individual in those Fox clips is a friggin' UNITED STATES SENATOR who until recently was the CHAIRMAN of that body's committee that addresses environmental issues and would be the body to review environmental legislation introduced in the Senate and either kill it or send it back to the full Senate for a vote.

Look where he gets his campaign money from...
