I am home. I feel like it's been forever since I've been here. In a way it has been. Excluding a week upon my return from Africa I haven't been home for a whole month this summer and I'll be gone a total of a whole other month by the time it's over. I came home found my iPod and decided to go for a walk to take in the brisk San Francisco evening.

umm lemme think.. Maybe you can use that and make a baby sweater? One of my best friends is 7 months pregnant...?

And that is sooooooo not enough to make a sweater out of, even for a newborn. A tiny hat and booties, maybe, but not a full sweater. And really, not a baby yarn.

Thanks for your perspective with regards to Blake. I feel blessed to have someone in my life who can see him for the brilliant, funny loving kid he is and not just his challenges. I know he is missing you. He went out to find you at 4am on the futon, but came back to bed in the bedroom when you weren't there.
He really does love you, Mason, and I know why. You are one of the most loving and beautiful men I have ever had the pleasure to know. I hope you find another world class snuggler to fill that void in your life, but until then, you can borrow mine anytime.
