oh yes, my great grandpa and grandpa were both very important in canadian politics.
the great grandpa was premier of PEI - the government building in Charlottown is named after him, and he;s an Officer of the Order of Canada.
my grandpa was commissioner of penitentiaries - apparently he was mentioned in my sisters sociology class, and he like....helped re-write and edit the Canadian Criminal Code or something spectacular like that.
