Time is relentless. It is a hunter that stalks us all, and eventually wins, dragging us all away, kicking and screaming. It depresses me to think about it... no doubt why birthdays are so difficult for me.

Ah... welcome my brother. Now you have had the wonderful moment where you realize that you are mortal. You will have more of these moments as you get older, but don't despair: one can choose to ignore the whole aging thing. That's what I try for, anyway.

It's a quote, but I still agree with it:
