In other news I started watching that new show, The Walking Dead, and it is amazing. Through the end of the second episode my heart was pounding!! Lol, I am going to keep watching it as it continues. I'm also looking forward to that new

I totally like your 'tude :D

Basically I'm just gonna say that I like fics the way I like them, OOC or IC, I don't really care. Therefore, I like to write fics the way I like them. I write for me. So I'm the first to admit that my characters are not the most IC, I try but I'm not gonna stress that too much. If I enjoy writing it then why should I care whether most people will like it? If you don't like what I write than don't read.

Pretty much, save that people seem to just want any excuse to kick up a fuss/shit storm. Annoying, really but ah well. Can't always be helped I guess.

Ah, so the Arthur/Cobb is coming along. I was beginning to think it wasn't going to be up. Now I have something to look forward to! :D

Personally, I'm a bit more of a stickler for fitting with canon, but then again, whatever floats our boats man. Not like I go around canon!Nazi-ing.

lol, why thank you :D some people do fuss too much i think. i think reading and writing should be fun, gotta read and write what you want not what the majority wants lol.

and yes! it's done, i sent it to someone, but i haven't heard back lol. i'm gonna give them til this weekend then I'm just gonna put it up :) And i have another started that's more serious, I have to work more on that one though.

To each their own though honestly, i'm all for finding a really well written fic that fits canon and is really IC and reading it. I just don't have fun writing that way lol, I'll go nuts lol. I have more fun with short sweet oneshots lol, I do try to make it convincing with the characters. But if I write a bit OOC, I just accept it.
I've had someone go off on me that my characters were OOC and not convincing as a story... oh well, I actually liked that story lol. My number one priority is to enjoy my writing, as long as I'm happy with it :D

And I know what you mean though. I don't mind being exacting on myself and putting a lot of effort to make stuff fit canon or IC as I see it. But I have difficulties with people who try to impose their view of canon and IC on people :/

That being said, I do have a limit, I guess. Like, Saito going off and giving everyone a hug and singing Kumbaya to me is...O.O Well, I'd buy it - with a lot of persuasion.

Which story, out of curiosity? :/ Don't listen to the nutter :/ I think for Inception in particular, it's a bit tough to be particularly OOC.

Ohhh exactly, I can't sit through something absolutely ridiculous lol. It just doesn't have to be super exact when it comes to canon and how exactly every character needs to act. You're definitely right, the more I read around the more I see people imposing what they think is the right way to write the characters.

I try my best to make my story convincing for these characters though, I do, the way I see it.

But OMG, I'm writing a Fairytale AU! (It's like a guilty pleasure honestly to write lol) and I'm taking a lot of liberties with it hahhaa, it's kinda fun though lol. But Mal, Nash and Robert got stuck as the evil characters lmfao. It sounds ridic to even say but I'm writing it hahaha.

But I do have a lot of respect for people able to put in that effort, some really well written stories come from that extra effort.

Ohh, and it was for my broken arm fic A Little to the Right. On ff.net this one person went into how mistakes and how my ending was completely unbelievable. Which I get, but I was proud of that fic before that
