Why do I always insist on getting sick?? This is getting a little ridiculous now :( I hate my immune system!!

In other news I started watching that new show, The Walking Dead, and it is amazing. Through the end of the second episode my heart was pounding!! Lol, I am going to keep watching it as it continues. I'm also looking forward to that new ( Read more... )

Ohhh exactly, I can't sit through something absolutely ridiculous lol. It just doesn't have to be super exact when it comes to canon and how exactly every character needs to act. You're definitely right, the more I read around the more I see people imposing what they think is the right way to write the characters.

I try my best to make my story convincing for these characters though, I do, the way I see it.

But OMG, I'm writing a Fairytale AU! (It's like a guilty pleasure honestly to write lol) and I'm taking a lot of liberties with it hahhaa, it's kinda fun though lol. But Mal, Nash and Robert got stuck as the evil characters lmfao. It sounds ridic to even say but I'm writing it hahaha.

But I do have a lot of respect for people able to put in that effort, some really well written stories come from that extra effort.

Ohh, and it was for my broken arm fic A Little to the Right. On ff.net this one person went into how mistakes and how my ending was completely unbelievable. Which I get, but I was proud of that fic before that comment lol, I even research what happens when you break your arm, so that was a downer. My Arthur was too OOC for her.

I think for Inception in particular, it's a bit tough to be particularly OOC.

Def, I agree with that. I mean we see them mostly in a work atmosphere. It's kinda hard to say how they act outside of that, idk lol.

I need to stop rambling, I'm ridiculous lol.

JFC I know what you mean! I'm doing a crossover with a fandom (Dresden Files) - and Arthur as a Knight of the Cross. (And he's atheist.) Expecting to get the wtf chorus once it's posted.

I think that's all we can do though. Exactly what you say, I mean. To do our best to make our stories convincing for the characters, the way we see them. I got one person on FFN who laid into me too about how Arthur's behaviour wasn't what a normal intelligent adult would do -.-

Ignore the dude. I don't quite see what's wrong with your story, really. Did she at least offer some concrit? Any specificity>

Hahaa, awesomenes! I look forward to the wtf chorus for mine as well :D

And exactly. I think some people just take it wayyy too seriously. It seems like people on ffn are the mean ones then! And thanks though, I appreciate that :) She did tell me why she did not like my story lol, umm their relationship developed too fast. (Which I get, but the point was it wasn't a relationship, there wasn't even kissing lol, it was a moment of weakness for Arthur kinda thing, idk, to me anyway) She told me how the characters should have acted lol. She liked my Eames, but then hated the ending basically. I understood where she was coming from, but it was definitely a downer lol.

IKR. *facepalm* I don't know, the problem is, I bought it because to me, their relationship isn't regular and caring and lovey-dovey all the time. They've got focused on-the-job bits and - urgh. I shall not rant.

I know what you mean. It's okay, keep in mind that you've got a lot of other people who think it's great :D

I probably ranted enough for the two of us in my comments, hehe. It sounds interesting though! As long as you like it :D I have to admit I'm enjoying my fairytale au, lmao, I'm trying my best to keep it from turning into crack tho... I didn't know how hard that was going to be lol... but it's still fun :D

Aww, thanks! That's really nice of you :D
