What did you learn today, everyone?
I learned that my Grandmother thinks who I am is wrong.
- I am too opinionated and sensitive as a person.
- I should have been baptized and raised as a Christian.

Old people are not as wise and sage as the media makes them out to be...in fact I find that most of them are pretty dumb. Either because the era they were born and raised in was unrefined and more savage or because their braincells are deteriorating.
My grandmother for example sees nothing wrong with gay people being allowed to marry, but she thinks that they are all perverts and that gay night clubs are basically bordellos choked with lust and sweat and pot smoke and no one wears clothes.
All Mexicans are criminals, this is also her belief.
And this? This is a conversation that actually happened.
"Grandma, I'm a democrat you know."
"No you're not, you're just confused."

I'm not sure what to say because I don't understand what you're feeling. I don't understand because my family does NOT talk about anything. At least anything substantial besides money. We all just sort move around each other in these little spheres.
Okay enough rambling about me, I think that you're pretty strong and if you need help just contact me. Also ice cream icon to make you feel better.

I don't know you.
But.
You are a wonderful, worthy human being. You are loved, and you deserve respect on the basis of your existence, your gifts, and your youness. The one terrible thing about the internet is that hugs are not yet supported. Have one anyway.
haters to the left. to the left.
