BUT WHO WATCHES THE--- *is shot*

Feb 18, 2009 00:28

It's 12:30, I'm eatin' a sammich, and I finished reading Watchmen. Hot damn, guys. The last time a graphic novel-y sort of thing was this intriguing, it involved a genius serial killer playing tennis and a silver teaspoon of woe.

NEEDLESS TO SAY, I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THE FILM ADAPTATION. 3/6/9, baby. ♥

Anyway. FURTHER TALKIN'. Spoilers ABOUND. )

watchmen, real internet life, la residencia, real life

CHEATER. Also, I am going to go find a turtle and sniff it, just to see if that's actually that bad an insult, btw.

Do you not know how to do sparkle-text, btw? I can teach you! It's swaanky.

I vote for anything that scars the girl for life. :)

Watchmen is a classic. NOT YET READ IT MYSELF, but still... I recognise.

So scarring for life would beeee...what, Hell's Around The Corner? If I'd ever actually written posted more of Supermax I'd give her that.

WATCHMEN OMG!

Come, let us fangirl together about Rorschach & Nite Owl and their overtly homoerotic subtext.

I SHIP 'EM. Well, kind of! Rorschach/Kovas = OTP. Crazy people can be shipped with their alter egos and/or split personality and you will NEVER CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE.

I go to school really really really close to an IMAX, so GUESS WHO'S GONNA SEE IT ON THE BIG-BIG SCREEN, BABY?! \o/

Yes. Yes. Yes Yes Yes YES. Rorschach/Kovacs occurred to me shortly after reading the book, and there needs to be some kind of fanart/fanfiction/fanANYTHING that ships them. (lawl, alterego ship icon ^^)

OMG I TOTALLY HATE YOU FOR GETTING TO SEE IMAX WATCHWIN!

Man, you don't wanna know how much Laura Ingalls Wilder's The Long Winter is being reinaccted outside. And yet I have ventured forth because I have a serious addiction.
