Who: Anyone who wants to get in on some hot n' steamy painting action.
What: Village-wide art therapy.
When: Forward-dated to 11/25, and runs until 11/27.
Where: Between the Welcome Center and Azzip.
Summary: Paint with all the colors of the wind! Or at least with whatever colors Pao-lin managed to procure.
Rating: M for MURAL

[what, what, what are you doing, Tiger. You have messed up Pao-lin's badass commemorative portrait of Toph! At least it was mostly dry by the time he flopped against it, but he managed to smear the black outlines a little anyway.

But it's nothing that can't be easily fixed, so Pao-lin is just more concerned about Kotetsu. She's happy that he was so enthusiastic about helping out the first two days, but if it had made him this tired, he should definitely go back to bed. Pao-lin kneels beside him and shakes his shoulder gently.]

Yeah. So far this one seems pretty okay compared to what happened last month, though. [Insofar as much as weird shit happening every single month can be "okay."]

It...we're still not really sure how it happened. But a couple of days before Halloween, the moon got this scary-looking face on it, and then it grew bigger and bigger in the sky until it was pushing against the barrier around Luceti. People were trying to destroy it or push it back, but nothing worked, so some of us took shelter in the tunnels to hopefully ride out the moon crashing into the village. [She did, eventually.] But then that night, everyone blacked out and we woke up and everything was normal, except for the fact that the grocery store was full of candy and the clothing shops had all kinds of costumes. [Faint smile.] At least I managed to get my Hero costume that day.

... I see. So it was just a big, awful trick the malnosso pulled, huh?

[Pardon if he's not so happy about costumes and candy, because hell, the impending feeling of death from a falling moon is attention-worthy.]

I guess it must've been the Malnosso...but I don't understand why they would've done something like that to us. Halloween is supposed to be scary, but not that scary.

The last one involved hallucinations and someone plucking the feathers out of everyone's wings, I think. [She's not sure which one she prefers.] The experiments aren't terrible like that all the time, though.

Mmm...I think once a month. I heard sometimes we don't get one, but ever since I got here in September there's been an experiment or shift of some sort.

[She eyes the cup of coffee that she'd given Kotetsu earlier.]
