[He gives Makoto a smile at the comment, but it doesn't stop him from cracking wise good-naturedly.]

What, are you saying you don't want free chocolate?

[Pffsh, Adell. She holds the chocolate up. Nah, she likes this.]

Not in a million years. I'll take free chocolate over pricey chocolate anytime!

[He laughs, and unwraps a bar for himself.]

You been doing okay since you got here, Makoto?

As well as I can be. So long as Noel and Tsubaki are fine, I'm more than okay.

I haven't seen Tsubaki around very much in awhile. Good to hear she's still doing okay. I know she's living with Dr. Faye-Ling and Tao, so she's in good hands. ...Think that pilot guy lives there too, actually. Strange, as many times as I've talked to Litchi, I've never really spoken to him.

[Sheer cosmic coincidence, Adell.]

But I'm glad you're settling in well.

[Who is this pilot guy, she must know. Nevertheless, she chuckles lightly.]

If I don't adapt as soon as possible, it's just going to get harder to deal with what this place throws at us.

Yeah, a pilot. What was his name... David, I think is what she called him. He's been living with her, Tsubaki, and Tao for... I think more than a year now. Doubt he's from your world. But I don't know much else about him. I think he mostly keeps to himself.

[He shrugs.]

Good attitude to take. To be fair, the moon falling out of the sky is... almost as weird as it gets. Though it can get weird in other ways too.

And what do these . . . other ways entail?

...Some of the most confusing is when you get bodyswapped. My first experiment, I had mine swapped with my neighbor. ...Who was a seven foot tall green skinned orc.

I wish I was kidding.

You could probably write a book on your experiences here, huh?

Probably could. Definitely had a lot of them.

[He smirks and gives a short chuckle before he cracks his next remark.]

Wonder if it'd be marketable.

[planetcrusher]

I'd be a little worried if it sold, and well.

[Because then people would be loving the misfortune of others a little too much.]

People just have weird fascinations sometimes, I guess.

[He shakes his head.]

Still, not all the experiences I've had here have been bad. Some were weird. Others... weren't so bad at all. I spent a week as an archangel, actually.

An . . . archangel. [How curious.] What was that like?

[vulcanblazer]

...Peaceful. Honestly, hadn't felt that serene ever before. Of course, I knew in spite of that, that I could kick as much ass as I always could if it came to it.

Also the hovering thing that went with it was pretty cool.
