It's really hard to miss the poor guy and his unease, as large as he's become. Pao-lin will run up right beside him, calling out:]

Mac? Is everything all right? [It's kind of a stupid question to ask, considering how it looks like they're in another experiment (already? The previous one felt it was just last week!), but it's as good a greeting as any.]

Well, it looks like we're in the middle of another experiment. [She huffs and pouts.] I can't believe we've got another one already. It feels like the last one was just last week! ... The moon don' got a face where I'm from, either. All I know is that Halloween's comin' up... [He muses aloud.] Mr. Giles told me that some weird stuff has happened around here whenever it's close t'Halloween. But he never said nothin' 'bout no fallin' moons or masks than can make y'act like a real jerk.
