Pao-lin's having a ball with this party. She put her artistic skills to use doing the interior decorating (streamers! balloons! banners!), and while she can't really cook all that well, she was more than happy to find good places to lay out all the nomlicious food (and sneak a few bites of it here and there...SHE IS A GROWING GIRL, SHE NEEDS TO EAT, OKAY).

You can seriously catch her anywhere: eating food, meandering around making sure everything's going okay, participating in games like Pin the Cape on the Hero, some other thing that this mun hasn't mentioned because she's not braining good at the moment...

If there's one thing Grune loves almost as much as picnics, it's games. She isn't at all good at them, but that doesn't matter to her--the fun is in playing them, not winning.

When she sees Pao-lin heading over to the games area, she beams, forgetting entirely about what she had been doing, and calls out, "Hello, Pao-lin!"

Pao-lin glances over her shoulder. "Oh, hey, Grune!" she greets, waving. "Wanna play a game with me?"

Grune waves back, somehow looking even more delighted. "Oh, yes, I'd love to!"

Playing games with your friends is so much fun!

Peo-lin smiles. "Any game in particular you wanna try?"

Grune considers the selection. "Hmm...."

...Pao-lin would probably do better to just pick one. Grune will be happy with whatever she chooses, and it'll be much faster.

Pao-lin waits a little bit out of courtesy to see if Grune shows a preference.

"Well, how about Pin the Cape on the Hero?" she finally says. She's just a wee bit biased: she created the game herself, drawing Fire Emblem as the hero in question and then cutting out facsimiles of his flaming cape to be used in the game. She thinks it turned out pretty awesome.

"Oh, yes, that looks like fun!" she immediately agrees. And then she pauses. "I wonder how you play."

"Well, first you get one of these capes," says Pao-lin, heading over to a table featuring a pile of cutout capes. "Then you get blindfolded and spun around so that you're all dizzy, and then you walk over to the hero" -- she gestures at the picture of Fire Emblem on the wall -- "and try to stick the cape on so that it fits the hero!"

...That was a lot of instructions all at once for an amnesiac. Still, Grune will try.

She heads over to the pile of capes and picks one up. "Oh, my, this is a very pretty cape."

Maybe she could find one just like it. Or, hmm.... Would it look nice in green?

Pao-lin gets up on a chair near Grune, a silk handkerchief in one hand. "All right, Grune, I'm going to blindfold you now, okay?"

"All right." Grune waits patiently.

Already, she can't quite remember why she needs to be blindfolded, but she's sure Pao-lin has a good reason.

Pao-lin carefully ties the handkerchief around Grune's eyes, making sure it's snug but not too tight.

"Okay, time to spin you around!" She takes Grune by the shoulders and gently spins her in place.

Grune giggles as she's spun about. "This is a fun game."

Is it her turn to spin Pao-lin next?

After a few more spins, Pao-lin stops to turn Grune in the general direction of the poster. "Now it's time to pin the cape on the hero! Just walk slow, and when you reach the wall stick the cape on where you think it should go!"

Surely there isn't anything that could go wrong with this.

"All right!"

Oh, my, she's very dizzy. So dizzy, in fact, that the first place she attempts to pin the cape is...on Pao-lin.
